This English Countryside Manor built in the 1920’s was a true pleasure to decorate! Our client envisioned her home with the 1920’s meeting the 21st century by utilizing a fresh, hip color palette for a young, growing family.
The beautiful woodworking throughout became the focal point of the rooms and truly “popped” when we painted the walls almost a lime green. The hot pink furnishings offset the painted walls and the neutral fabrics used on the remaining furnishings give the eye a rest.
We wanted to downplay the furniture pieces so the attention wouldn’t be drawn away from the original hardwoods, fireplace, woodworking, and floor to ceiling windows.
