Often in descriptions of the numerous charming towns in Cape Cod, the appeal of the sea is somewhat masked by the quintessential allure of the towns themselves. After a summer spent in the scorching sand of the Carolinas’ beaches, I welcomed the sweater weather that accompanied our late afternoon walks on the Nantucket Sound in the early autumn of last year. Just as my favorite part of Chatham was its proximity to the sea, the Chatham Bed pays homage to foggy Cape Cod shore. The plantation grown mahogany is shaped in delicate waves on the headboard to remind us of the beauty that brought the charming towns to the cape in the first place.
