I try and make a point to go to as many art galleries as I can when I visit a new place to get inspiration from local artists. In Taos, New Mexico, though, walking into a traditional gallery wasn’t necessary-the art of local artists literally covered all of downtown. Murals dance throughout the historic downtown illustrating Taos life and history. The result is captivating, just like the aura of the Taos Sideboard. Its Central American and even ancient Aztec influence is clearly visible in its geometric, clean lines, and, as always, it is hand crafted from the finest plantation grown mahogany and all drawers are constructed of solid hardwood and are made with traditional dovetail joints.
